Bio:
Carol A. Babineau is a jewelry
designer and Senior Instructor
of Art Clay. My home is in
southern New Hampshire, with my
husband and three children.
Since I was born into a family
of artists and musicians, and as
a result of their influence, I
have become an imaginative and
dynamic artist. Experiences
in the bead world gave me the
incentive to launch a home-based
business in jewelry design.
Throughout this time in my life,
I've enjoyed the rewards of
teaching wirework and bead
weaving. While teaching, I
was introduced to the other
brand of metal clay through a
book by Tim McCreight.
After becoming certified in the
other metal clay, I became
interested in Art Clay and
completed the Crossover
Curriculum and then my Senior
Certification. I
discovered my calling as a
sculptress and innovator in
silver creations, and have made
many artistic and interesting
friends along the way. In my
quest of life-long learning and
creativity, there continues to
be multiple outlets such as
watercolor, quilt-making,
drawing, gardening, and jewelry,
which have enriched as well as
become the focus of my creative
world. The knowledge
gained over my lifetime
compliments this new medium.
