Bio:
I've always considered myself an
artist. I've explored many media
but now consider polymer clay
and Art Clay Silver to be my
main focus. I've studied art at
the California University at
Long Beach. I've been developing
and teaching classes for the
past 20 years. I enjoy teaching
both young and old alike.
I've been married to a firefighter for over 30 years and have raised 2 children. I teach both polymer clay and silver clay classes, as well as sell my work at several shows throughout the year. |

Philosophy:
As an artist
I love to explore different
media and combinations. I
love to use nature as the
focus for many of my pieces.
I try to find new
possibilities in silver and
I'm currently exploring
sculpture and vessels.
With my characters, I like
to express common emotions
in uncommon ways. Whether
I'm sculpting human or
animal form, expression is
the key. Each doll seems to
be alive and have emotions -
whether it's of this world
or not.
As an instructor,
I love to open possibilities
for my students. I love to
enable them to bring their
visions into reality. I try
to give them the skills
necessary to take off on
their own. And, I always try
to be completely sharing
with my students. |
