  • Biography: 
    Jeannette is "one of a kind" as she is experienced in several visual art mediums, such as ceramics, painting, drawing, jewellry making, and stained glass among others. Jeannette began working in metal clay in 2002 and has not looked back! She has been a professional artist for the past 25 years. After doing the "show circuit" for several years displaying and selling her art at such exhibits as the Signature Shows and the One–of–A–Kind in Toronto, Jeannette settled down and opened a bead store and art studio in Kemptville, south of Ottawa. Jeannette is a contributing author of metal clay articles to Canadian Beading Magazine.She is also the publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Metal Clay Artist Magazine.
    Philosophy: 
    Jeannette enjoys teaching students to be more creative and celebrating with them as they achieve new skill levels.
    Memberships & Teaching Experience:
    Jeannette is a member of the Ontario College of Teachers. She is a certified teacher with 18 years experience. She specializes in art and special education, having taught grades K–13 as well as college and adult upgrading. Jeannette is the art director of Rideau Art & Beads. Jeannette designs and teaches classes, as well as supervising 9 other art teachers.
    Awards / Degrees:
    Jeannette has won many awards for her art and jewellery and earned several degrees. Her degrees include: B.A. (hons) History–Queen’s University, B.A.–Studio Art–Ceramics/Studio Arts State University of New York, M.Ed.–Education (Teaching Specialty) – State University of New York, Diploma–Ceramics–St. Lawrence College, Diploma–Fine Art–St. Lawrence College, Certificate–French–University of Western Ontario
