Biography:
Pam East is an enamelist and a certified Master Instructor in Art Clay Silver. She has written numerous articles for such magazines as Lapidary Journal, Art Jewelry Magazine, and Step-by-Step Beads. Her video "Enamel Bead Making" has received high praise in review. She has appeared on the highly acclaimed Carol Duvall Show on HGTV, and also on Jewelry Making on the DIY Network. Pam inherited her love of jewelry designing from both her grandfathers, each of whom pursued art in their later years. Born and raised in Southern California, Pam now resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband, daughter, two cats, a dog, and Max, the wonder fish. |
Philosophy:
My philosophy can probably be summed up by "Share the joy". I love working with Art Clay Silver and Enamels, and there's nothing I enjoy more than sharing my enthusiasm with my students and customers. Fun, I have found, is contagious. In my teaching, articles, and appearances, I have always worked towards making these art forms as accessible as possible to a wide audience. Even while maintaining a high standard of excellence, making beautiful jewelry need not be difficult or expensive.
