Each Pottery To Go Set includes the items needed for any artist to paint high-quality pottery bisque at home.

Set includes:

• 4 paintbrushes in sizes small, medium, large, and X-large
• Sponge
• 6 bottles 2oz each in the color glazes of the artist’s choice; Please list glaze choices in the Comments when purchasing.
• 12 paper glaze cups
• Color Chart
• Detailed Instructions

We recommend one Pottery To Go Set per piece per artist, so that each person can choose up to 6 colors per piece. The fee for the set may be credited once all items are returned undamaged; cost of any lost or damaged items will be taken from the deposit and the difference credited. An image of our color chart is available on this page to aid artists in their selections. If purchasing pottery non-locally, customer is responsible for all shipping costs. Local customers will have any freight and insurance fees removed from their order, and will receive a call/email when their order is ready for no-contact pickup. Please list glaze choices in the Comments when purchasing. If item is purchased with no color selections in Comments, we will automatically fill the order with 2oz each of Tuxedo Black, Candy Apple Red, Sunkissed Yellow, Green Thumb Green, Cara-bein Blue, and Cotton Tail White, which would allow virtually any color to be mixed/made.

Once you're done painting at home:

• Local artists should contact us via phone (708-857-8858) or email (CustServ@artclayworld.com) to arrange drop-off of pieces to be fired and the Pottery To Go items.
• Non-local artists are responsible for all shipping fees to return kit materials and/or have pieces fired.
• Once we receive the pottery to be fired, we will clear-glaze each piece to seal the entire surface and give the item a professional shiny finish.
• The clear glaze takes at least 24 hours to dry, after which we will fire the pieces, which takes another 18+ hours.
• Once the pieces have cooled, we inspect each one, and then call artists to arrange their no-contact pickup or return shipping.
