(Item # HA-007) Acid-Washed Coconut Carbon (2lbs)

This activated, acid-washed coconut carbon is recommended for use with any and all base metal clays needing oxygen-restricted firing. It has been tested and used successfully with Hadar’s Clays, Goldie Clays, Prometheus Clays, Metal Adventures clays, and metal clay mokume-gane! Each bag has 2lbs of coconut carbon, which is enough to fill a standard 4”x4” stainless steel firing pan and still have more for topping off future firings as the carbon slowly produces as and reduces in volume

This is my very favorite firing medium!  It is great for firing silver metal clay and also works great on base metal clay!
