With a fine arts degree, Charlene worked as an interior designer until 2003 when she began taking local jewelry classes and teaching others creative uses of wire in designs. Her training evolved to metalsmithing. It was the introduction to metal clay in 2009 that she found a true connection and now uses it as her medium of choice.

Creativity is not elusive. It is not a gift of the few. Creativity exists everywhere around us and within each and every one of us. Like a personality of its own, it can be quiet, reserved or shy, outgoing, expressive and confident. Exceptional are those that translate their gift into a purpose and skill.
