Biography: 

Barbara Hance comes to Art Jewelry from a broad background of seemingly unrelated media; among them, culinary arts, quilting, dressmaking, needlework, drawing, and watercolor.

She has discovered that the creative process is the same no matter what media is used, skills are accumulated, transferred and selectively applied to each new project.  Consideration for color, texture, design and careful execution apply to all forms of art work.

Barbara has been teaching metal clay and jewelry making since 2005.  Her work is featured in local galleries, boutiques, and on her website: www.BarbaraHance.com

Barbara wishes to continue to develop new skills, refine the old ones, and share what she learns with others through teaching.
