Biography:

Creating jewelry has always been a part of my life.  It started as a child when I scrounged for seed beads and buttons in my grandma's basement to create tiny treasures.  I loved summer camp where the craft projects were plentiful and let my creativity run wild. Then I discovered bead shops, then Silver Clay.  Now making jewelry is my job, my hobby and my meditation.  I find inspiration for my designs in human relationships, the movies I see, ancient archeological finds, the milestones in our lives and even the stones in the sidewalk.  I use Art Clay Silver because I like that they are an eco-friendly company.  The silver in Art Clay is recycled, reclaimed from industrial & other uses.
I create in my home studio using Art Clay Silver, gemstone beads, sterling and fine silver wire, freshwater pearls and whatever else catches my eye.  I am dedicated to providing unique, quality handmade jewelry, with as little impact on our environment as possible.  I believe that the details matter, and you'll see this in my hand-made signature ear wires, finished wire ends and lovingly crafted jewelry.  I love teaching others the magic of Silver Clay.  I will be teaching classes in the Milwaukie, Or soon.  Watch my website for information about classes & individual instruction opportunities.
