FlexiShape Clay Bezel Templates are the most cost-effective bezel templates available, with so many size options per each 5in x 6in template. The flexibility, light weight, and transparency of the templates also makes them the easiest to work with. Size labels are etched directly into the acrylic, so they will never fade or come off with cleaning.

To use the Clay Bezel Templates follow these simple steps:
1. Measure the depth of your gemstone, and roll your metal clay of choice to the depth of your gem plus 0.5mm. (Clay depth can be less if layering atop another metal clay base.)
2. Carefully trim the exact size of your gem from the clay, but do not remove the trimmed clay from the rest.
3. Match the stone size on the left of the template with the desired bezel width for that same size stone in line to the right. Center the trimmed stone shape within the selected bezel width option, then carefully trim the bezel size shape.
4. Remove the clay that is not part of the bezel (both the exterior extra and the interior gem-sized clay) and press the gemstone into place so that its table is even with or just below the surface of the metal clay.
5. Dry, refine, and attach your perfectly set gem to the rest of your metal clay project. These clay bezel templates work with any brand and formula of metal clay, allowing the clay to reduce around the gemstone for a firm, permanent capture.

These same templates work perfectly for polymer clay and many other media with minimal modifications.
