Growing up in New York fostered my love for all things in nature, from the ocean where I collected seashells as a child, to the colorful fall leaves the area is known for.
Adventure led me to California where I became enamored with jewelry making and the exploration of a variety of materials and techniques. When I discovered metal clay with its infinite possibilities--something magical that could be molded, textured, carved, and turned into fine silver jewelry by firing it with a simple kitchen torch--I was hooked. This was pure magic!
I became a Certified Senior Instructor in 2011 so I could pass that magic on to others, especially those who claim they don’t have a creative bone in their bodies. My goal is to ignite the same passion and help them become confident in their own abilities.

I believe we are never done learning. Continuing our education and surrounding ourselves with inspirational and supportive people is what keeps our creative batteries charged. One of my favorite quotes is by Maya Angelou, “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” |
