Sue Wade of Northwest Indiana, has been making unique jewelry for over 16 years. For three years she managed a local bead shop and taught jewelry making classes. She has been selling her work at local art fairs for the past 9 years. An avid supporter of other local artists, she incorporates their handmade lampworked beads into many of her jewelry designs.
She is a self-professed "tool and bead-a-holic" and likes to explore the many different forms of jewelry design. Always on "the hunt" for unique items to incorporate into her designs, she looks at everything a little differently than she used to, especially in antique & resale shops where treasures can abound.
In 2008, Sue opened her own studio, The Artisan's Workshop, which focuses on teaching various jewelry techniques. She hosts a monthly "Bead Club" meeting for local jewelry making enthusiasts to inspire, share and encourage one another in their passion for all things bead related.
