I am a metal clay and metal smithing artist.
I have a BA in Biology and BFA in painting, drawing and graphic design. I have taken numerous classes and workshops in silversmithing from nationally known artists.
I have worked with metal clay since 2002. I love its diverse creative qualities and the possibility of applying silver smith techniques with metal clay to produce my artwork.
I became a senior certification instructor in PMC, and after several years of experience obtained Senior Instructor certification in Art Clay. I apply my passion for creative design with metal clay and silversmithing by teaching classes at William Holland School of Lapidary in Young Harris GA and at the Spruill Center for the Arts in Atlanta, GA.

I find the personal hands on approach is the most satisfying experience and allows me to express my inner feelings and being through these mediums. My love of nature in all of it’s ever changing forms, textures and color is a constant source of inspiration in many of the pieces I design. I find much joy in designing and making silver jewelry that combines natural shapes, stones, and textures with the silver metal clay and metal medium.

I also find as much fulfillment and joy in the sharing my insight and talent with students. I really love passing on the understanding and knowledge of how to work with metal clay to the students that I have had the privilege to teach and share.
