Paint Your Own Pottery: How it Works

Select your bisque piece(s).

Clean bisque piece (Pottery Piece) with damp sponge to remove dust.

Paint 2-3 coats of glaze for full/opaque coverage. 1 coat will be transparent. Allow piece to dry between coats, the glaze will look chalky rather than shiny when it is dry.

Have a particular design in mind? Let us know how we can help you achieve it.

Anything you don’t paint will be a shiny white.

When finished, put name or initials on bottom of piece with dark glaze color.

Fill-out name, phone, email and mark which pieces painted on Pottery Card, then give the card to our Customer Service Representative for payment. Pottery pricing is regularly between $5.00-$50.00. There is no studio-fee.

Return in 1 week to pick-up your fired piece(s).
