“Dichroic” literally translates to “two-colored.” Dichroic glass displays different colors depending on lighting conditions and the viewing angle, its bold tones creating a stunning show of shifting hues. Because of its rich color and perceived movement, dichroic glass is embraced by jewelry artists; dichroic cabochons can be incorporated with metal clays, traditional metalsmithing, polymer clays, wire-wrapping, resin, beadwork, and virtually any other wearable art you can fashion. This kit contains basic tools and six pieces of glass: black, clear, two dichro-on-black and two dichro-on-clear sheets. The black and clear sheets are 4” x 4”, the dichro sheets are each 2” x 4”. This is enough glass for dozens of gorgeous, unique cabochons. Happy creating!
